Leanna will hold a safe and sacred space, and guide a group of 10 through a 2.5hr container weaving the following elements -

// Cacao: Drop into the heart with the heart blood, Mama Cacao. We will sip a small dose of ceremonially prepared & intentionally sourced cacao which is natural plant medicine known for its properties to open the heart, guide the intuitive focus and expand connection to source. It is stimulating and you will be given guidance to work with it using breath and meditation, note (having cacao is completely optional). Cacao beans are the basis of modern day chocolate. 

Medicinal Cacao is generally thick, bitter and spiced with things such as cinnamon, cardamon, ginger. Leanna will prepare with with a touch of local honey, it is a mostly water based drink however some oat or coconut milk will be used if needed.

Note: Leanna does not claim to be trained in traditional use of cacao, she will lovingly prepare the medicinal drink and share it in circle with deepest respect to traditions of Ancient Mayans and Aztecs.

What to expect?

Let go of expectations for any outcomes. Expect safe space holding, a nourishing sound bath and time to gently rest, there is no hard work to be done except being open and receptive to your own heart and spirit. Cacao is nurturing and stimulating, can feel quite elevating and opening. Take yourself as gently or as deep as you would like to go. 

Who this session is not for?

Anyone with allergies or sensitivities to Cacao and any one with a condition as listed on the contraindications list below in relation to sound healing and cacao.

Contraindications for Sound Healing

Important Information, this Sound Vibration offering may not be for everyone, please contact us if you have any questions.

No instruments will be placed onto the physical body of any participant and Leanna will not be walking around the room with instruments to be held closer to participants.  

Pregnancy

Anyone that is pregnant is advised to attend the sound journey at their own discretion and risk. There are minimal studies that detail the effects of sound vibration and pregnancy, it is advised that those in first trimester especially consider this information.

The journey is overall restorative and considering the size of the space I would advise sitting further away from the instruments if choosing to attend.

Mental health

The nature of a sound bath is therapeutic in nature, overall nurturing & will involve energetic clearing and sounds to help the body let go. Please consider your own mental state or current mental health before attending, if currently traversing something deeper, consider whether this is an intentional space you want to work with right now.

the space is a safe and loving one, should you need any support at any moment please raise your hand and speak with your facilitator Leanna, even mid-sound.

Please consult a medical professional prior to attending if you are have of the things listed below: 

*People with a pace maker are unable to attend without medical clearance.

 *People with carotid stenosis.

 *People with cardiac pacemakers, artificial heart valves, or cardiac arrhythmias

*People with a stent

*people that experience epilepsy, especially sound induced, please do not attend without medical clearance.

*metal plates and pins inside body. there is inconclusive research on the effects of sound healing and metal inside the body. If you choose to attend, you can monitor your experience and move or exit if feeling uncomfortable.

*if you experience mental health conditions that are triggered by sound, this journey may not be for you and you are advised to not attend.

*sound sensitive and highly sensitive beings. Advised to position further away from source of sound and request that no sound is played closer to you.

*heart conditions. people with heart conditions are advised to seek medical clearance.

*physical injury. people that may have experienced whiplash may not attend less than 3 days from incident.

Contraindications for Cacao

SSRI’s antidepressants (Selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors)

Please avoid consuming cacao if you are taking high doses of SSRIs. Cacao releases serotonin, so it works as a mild antidepressant. When taken with SSRIs that release serotonin chemically it can lead to serotonin syndrome.

Those on low doses of SSRIs and who drink coffee regularly, may choose to start on 10g cacao daily, and see how you get on. If you start getting a headache, or any other symptoms please stop and check with your doctor.

Individuals taking MAOIs (monoamine oxidase inhibitors) should avoid consuming ceremonial cacao due to potential interactions.

Pregnancy

It is recommended you reduce or cut out consumption of caffeine & stimulants during pregnancy or whilst breastfeeding. If you already consume these you may choose to consume cacao but at a lower dose of 10-15 grams. Many women chose to work with Cacao as a heart opener and a way to increase love & good feelings whilst pregnant or breastfeeding.

Adrenal Fatigue

Regular high doses of ceremonial cacao can also lead to adrenal fatigue

Pre-existing heart conditions or on heart medication

Cacao works on the heart & blood vessels so please speak with your doctor before consuming

High blood pressure or medication for blood pressure

If you have a sensitivity to caffine

If you drink coffee, green tea or black tea, you should be able to drink cacao. Perhaps start with a smaller dose to begin with. Don’t consume on an empty stomach and leave a gap before going to sleep e.g. no caffeine after 12pm daily.

Certain psychiatric conditions

Cacao releases serotonin, endorphins and dopamine so generally creates feelings of wellbeing and euphoria. It has supported many people who feel anxious, stressed & depressed. However, it is advised you speak with your medical professional before consuming.

It's always advisable to consult with a healthcare professional before incorporating ceremonial cacao into your wellness practices, especially if you have any underlying health concerns or are taking medications.

Enter a portal of sound and energy with a scalar infused sound journey, this is the final sound healing event of 2024 at HHCC with Leanna ((muyacura)).

Reflect on the wisdom that you have gathered this year, what non serving patterns or thoughts will you leave behind and what will you take with you on your journey moving forward into the new calendar year?

Be guided through:

All in preparation for receiving a cleansing sound bath designed to assist you to relax and revitalise your whole body system and your energy field. 

Leanna utilises sacred tools such as Tibetan Singing Bowls, Crystal Bowls and other instruments designed for sound healing, along with her voice and song. She calls forth ancestral wisdom and heart connection in order to weave journeys that are safe containers for gentle healing, empowerment and peace. 

As this sound journey will be held within the Scalar Room, you'll be receiving a Standard 2hr Scalar Session at the same time.

The effects of this modality in combination with sound healing make for a potent container for transformation and raising your vibration. 

Time: 5.30pm to 7.30pm. Please allow a further 30mins for grounding with a cup of tea for integration prior to leaving.
